Malam Raya, saya telah berjaya mempelajari how-to-cook Masakan Kelantan bersama ibu mertuaku. Hanya dua jenis masakan sahaja, pertama adalah Kari Kelantan dan yang kedua adalah Ayam Goreng Kicap (which i think the simplest way to cook ordinary fried chicken). Berikut adalah bahan-bahan untuk Kari Kelantan.
Part A
Shallots
Garlic
Ginger
Curcuma longa as known as Turmeric 🙂 (powder & fresh)
(Kita kisar kesemuanya, but for me I need to use traditional way to mix everything – ketuk sama itu lesung batu hahaha)Part B
Curry Powder (Am not sure the brand but u can use adabi curry powder or baba’s)
Chillies powder
(Blend with coconut milk, eh I means mix with coconut milk until it’s blend well)
Part C
Chicken (cut into many sizes, advisable size that easy to eat)
kerisik (Malay toasted coconut)
Gula Melaka
Salt
Tamarind
Methods
1. Heat the cooking oil in saucepan
2. Put the ingredents Part A into the saucepan
3. When all the cook well or turns to yellowish, add curry mixed (Part B)
4. When curry cook well, add coconut milk and chicken, gula melaka, tamarind, salt
5. Wait until the chicken cook, you can add coconut milk when it’s nessecary.
Taraa.. You are done!
